International Zinc Diecasting Conference
2nd announcement

The International Zinc Association (IZA) is pleased to confirm the organization of its 2010 International Zinc Diecasting conference, which will take place in Vienna from 22 to 24 September 2010 .
This conference will focus on the evolution and opportunities provided by the main end-use markets such as: automotive, building, electric/electronic and advanced applications (medical, space, etc.) and review the latest developments made in zinc alloys, casting technologies, surface finsihing and other post-operations.

Venue - The conference will take place at the Fleming's hotel, close to the Westbahnof and the centre of Vienna.

Entertainment
A shortsightseeing tour of the historical centre of Vienna will be organized for the participants just before the Gala dinner, which will take place at the magnificient Daun Kinsky Palais in the historic centrum of Vienna 

Call for papers - Still a few places for speakers willing to present their latest innovations, findings or achievements! Don't miss this opportunity to share your work .... make sure to fill and return the ‘ call for papers' form as soon as possible . Note that complementary access to the conference sessions will be granted  to the speakers.

Program - The preliminary program has been posted on our dedicated website and will be updated on regular basis.

Zinc Diecasting International Competition .

In parallel with the conference, IZA also organizes  an International Zinc diecasting Competition.

This competition is open to any die caster and/or design engineer willing to submit a part manufactured recently and showing some degree of innovation and/or competitive advantages. The winning part for each market sector will be presented during the Conference sessions and an ‘Awards ceremony' will take place during the Conference Gala dinner. You will find attached the rules of the competition and some details on the way to participate.
