Zinc DieCasting Conference 2010

Design for the future, Vienna 23-24 September
Over 70 participants from 10 different countries attended this two -day international conference, reviewing the evolution and opportunities provided by the main end-use markets for zinc diecastings and highlighting the benefits of using diecasting alloys in applications such as: automotive, building, electric/electronic and advanced applications (medical, space, etc.).

Zinc DieCasting Competition 2010

In parallel with the conference, IZA also organized an International Zinc diecasting Competition. Many parts from several countries were submitted to an independent expert jury. Prizes were awarded during the Conference Gala dinner at the magnificent Daun Kinsky Palais in Vienna to 6 companies showing high degree of innovation and know-how for parts presenting significant advantages over competing material and/or technologies.
